sketches of little girls in my family album... ranging from 1940's to 1990's
Here's a fun little doodle that could be a cute story!
A scarier version of the Spongebob character.
This is another unidentified photo of a woman I found and decided to draw as a cartoon. She looks pretty rugged.
Mapping the layout of animated faces can be tough, these are examples of 2 different animation styles, but the rules apply to all.
If you can shade simple shapes, you can make a believable face. Excluding eye detail, each shape you add should be shaded essentially like a sphere. When you progress-you blend them together.
Just a sketch I did of the local mall's featured carousel. It's been there since I was a little kid.
Something else that could make a fun story I'm sure...
Just a sketch Dump.
A scary dream I had that involved a very big snake, a perfect nightmare.
This parading character was dressed completely in red with a massive body-sized mask similar to a plague doctor's. His costume was also decorated with dark colored beads, tassels and feathers. Reminds me of the Red Death.
In this dream I was crossing a river to lead my animals home. But the mud gave away and I fall into the freezing waters. Luckily I get to shore and find better ways for my animals to cross…
Sometimes my dreams come with an unusual dose of wisdom. "Sometimes moving to the front means you'll be lonely..."
I think not... Lately there has been a swarm of dreadful feelings buzzing in my head. Smiling will not calm them.

A commissioned character design for a friend's young relative.
Simplified head with skull and muscles. NOT precise.
Expressions with the skull outlined beneath. Shown at various angles.
This is an unidentified boy discovered in an old family album. Possibly late 1800's?
An unidentified woman discovered in an old family album. Daguerreotype, late 1800's?
A portrait of an old relative when he was a toddler. The time of this image is the early 1940's.
Old doodle of a dragon.
One of the more ominous dreams I've ever experienced. The scene revolved around some unknown threat hiding in a dark field.
This image came as more of a prompt for a possible story. Its open to interpretation.
Dream I had before my graduation. I peered into my coffin and looked at myself. This was humbling enough to remove all anxiety I was having for the morning ceremony.
I dream I had some time ago about what my future children may look like. Although the drawings are not too detailed it was nonetheless a pleasant dream.
This image comes from another old family photo likely taken in the 1890's. There is a possibility that the woman in the photo could be my great-great-grandmother.
Quick sketches of female figure in dynamic poses
Fairy drawing inspired by the work of Brain Froud.
Cartoon sketches of figure and various zoo animals.
Anatomy sketch of torso and spinal column.Another story prompt drawing.
Drawing of a goblin.
Old doodle of an 'evil' skeleton.
Actual drawing on top of my classwork... For unknown reasons the word 'seabag' was written next to her.
A drawing of a wart-covered goblin.
An unidentified woman and child from my family album. The time of this image is likely late 1910's.
Based on an elaborate dream, these characters would go on to be developed into digital drawings, sculptures and I have even created a short puppet movie with them. (More information to follow...)
Quick sketch of my dog snoozing on an old couch.
Quick design character sketch.
One of the oldest drawings in my gallery. This was a typical classroom doodle for me during high school.
A school project consisting of self-portraits and colorized masks to place on them. The bottom right mask is attributed to the 1994 comedy, 'The Mask'.
